8 October 2020 – The first part of the conference dealing with issues of nuclear power and climate change took place on 6 October. The speakers Georg Günsberg, Professor Benjamin K. Sovacool, David Reinberger and Oda Becker focused on how realistic it is for nuclear power to become a tool for solving the climate crisis in terms of potential, costs, safety risks as well as actual benefits in terms of carbon balance. 18 September 2020 – Due to the closing of borders for some of our lecturers and a number of participants and worsening epidemiological situation, we regret to announce that we are moving the conference from Prague Autoclub to the online domain. The first part of the video conference will take place on the original date, i.e., Tuesday 6 October from 10 am to 1 pm. We are still searching for the time of the second part. Please continue registering so that we can send you details about joining the event in time.
